South Devon Hotels by the sea

Some of our popular family rooms have balconies, some with sea views and others with woodland views making our South Devon hotel by the sea very popular with family travellers. While all our family rooms with balconies are adequately spacious, and furnished to a high standard, they also offer many good quality amenities and cosy décor.

At the Langstone Cliff Hotel, we’re always working hard to ensure we modernise and improve the quality of our family rooms with balconies. We pride ourselves on comfort as well as capturing a home-from-home ambience which works hand-in-hand as a traditional family hotel in Devon. For many years our family rooms with balconies have been a place where many wonderful family memories have been created making us one of the most sought after South Devon Hotels by the sea.

We have 17 family rooms with balconies at the Langstone Cliff Hotel and each room contains:

• A double bed with a single bed (with the option to add a cot or an additional single bed)
• Tea and coffee making facilities
• Hair dryer
• Trouser press
• Freeview LCD TV with Sky Sports Channels and a variety of radio channels
• En suite bathrooms
• First floor family rooms with balconies have bath and shower
• Ground floor family rooms with balconies have just a walk in shower and no bath

Unlike many South Devon hotels by the sea, most of our family rooms with balconies are located on the first floor which can be accessed by a lift or four separate staircases. There are however five rooms available on the ground floor which are more poolside.

Five of the balcony rooms are located over the Washington Suite, facing east; these rooms have a more so direct sea view but are further from the sea and are close to the lift. All but two of the poolside rooms overlook the main hotel lawns, facing north; with the sea to your left as you look out of the room. Two of the poolside rooms face south overlooking the wooded grounds, these two rooms are air conditioned. There are several steps between the upstairs poolside rooms and the lift which is located in the Washington suite.
