The Venus Café and Takeaway at Blackpool Sands Beach

Sitting right on the beach, Venus offers fantastic views and fabulous food, specialising in Devon organic produce. The licensed Café is open from 8:30am every day (except Christmas Day). Fresh crab, lobster, mussels, fish and chips, Devon organic steak, lighter and vegetarian meals, home-made cakes and Devon cream teas are examples of the delicious food on offer.

The all-weather dining area is kept warm by a log fire in the winter and cool by full height, bi-fold doors which open onto the beach in the summer.

The Café is a registered approved building for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies and can accommodate wedding receptions and parties for up to 90 guests. A marquee can be erected next to the beach for larger celebrations.

The Venus Takeaway menu includes sandwiches, baguettes, organic beef burgers, a selection of drinks, home-made cakes and ice creams whilst the Venus Shop sells everything you will need for a great day at the beach, including watersports equipment hire.
