Whether it’s a warm welcome, stunning countryside views or just the experience of staying in a cosy traditional Devon pub, we will do everything we can to ensure you enjoy your stay. All guest bedrooms are on the first floor which compromises of 3 double rooms and 1 family room. The George Inn, Blackawton is an old building with fairly steep narrow stairs. Therefore disabled access is not the easiest.

Check-in times are 12-3 pm & 5-11 pm Monday to Saturday and on Sundays 12-3 pm.

If you need a check-in time that’s outside of our normal hours, please let us know in advance as there may not be anyone on the premises to let you in otherwise.

Terms and conditions of booking
For current availability and bookings at our lovely South Hams bed and breakfast contact us or use the book online section above. We will reserve a booking for 2 days pending receipt of a 50% deposit, paid by credit or debit card at time of booking. In the event of cancelling your booking, the deposit will be returned up to 48hours before arrival, but is then forfeit.
