You will be greeted with a luxurious lounge area to relax and unwind, in the winter months open fires crackle, whilst during the heat of the summer the patio doors are opened, allowing the fresh sea air to welcome you.
At The Grand we have a range of beautifully appointed bedrooms and suites, many with stunning sea views over Torbay and beyond. As a 4 star hotel, all our rooms are equipped with the essentials for luxury stay whether you are visiting on business or pleasure.
Check in and check out times
Your room will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Departure is 11am, if you would like to extend your check out time at 1pm we would be delighted to offer this service at a charge of £25.
Disabled Access
The Grand has one bedroom with fully-equipped wet room, fitted with grab rails around the bathroom and it is situated on the ground floor. A shower stool can be provided for use in this room.
We also have:
- A number of rooms with walk-in showers, of all categories except single rooms
- Two lifts that service all floors and can accommodate a wheelchair
- Bar, Lounge, and Restaurant are all on the ground floor
- Disabled access ramp for entrance into the hotel itself
- Pool and leisure facilities on the lower ground floor are accessible by lift and then a flight of 3 steps ( A ramp is available on request)
Children
We do not charge for children under two years of age. From two to sixteen a child is charged at £25 bed and breakfast. Dinner bed and breakfast rates are unavailable, but children are welcome to choose from either the children’s menu or restaurant menu and will be charged individually. Children aged sixteen and over are charged as an adult.
