This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs but is designed to describe the facilities and services that we offer allowing our guests to decide if their particular needs can be met.

Pre-Arrival
Check-in is between 4-6pm unless otherwise arranged. The nearest railway station is Topsham, approximately 4 miles away, a taxi could be ordered. Exeter Airport is 8 miles away and there are usually taxis available at the arrival gate. It is about 0.75 miles from Rydon Farm to the village bus stop. A number 56/56A bus travels from Woodbury village centre to Exeter approximately once an hour from 7.15am to 6.15pm Monday to Saturday. It also travels from Woodbury to Exmouth approximately once an hour from 9.08am to 7.00pm. There are no buses on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Car Parking and Arrival
There is ample free on road car parking on level tarmac with well lit wall lighting. The entrance is accessed through the garden gate which is 90cm wide along a level brick paved garden path where there is one 4cm step into the front porch through a door which is 90cm wide. There is a 20cm step into the entrance hall via the front door which is 90cm wide. Due to the nature of the building we have no level access. Assistance with luggage is always available.

Welcome Hall
The floor in the Hall is level with short pile carpet. There is a sideboard with local information, a payphone and a single chair. The area is well lit with wall lighting, a ceiling light and 24 hour emergency lighting. All guests are made verbally aware of the location of all public areas and are escorted to rooms on arrival.

Stairs and Landing
The 84cm wide stairs from the hall to the first floor landing have short pile carpet. There are thirteen stairs with a handrail on one side. The landing is well lit with 2 x 3 bulb ceiling lights and 24 hour emergency lighting.

Bedrooms
We have a total of four bedrooms on two floors all of which have en-suite bath or shower rooms. Flat screen digital TVs are in all rooms with subtitles available. There is free Wi-Fi. The walls are light and the floors are all short pile carpet. The wardrobes have fixed hanging rails with a good supply of hangers.
